9 in. angel food cake

1 can (large) pineapple - drained

1 bag (large) whole frozen strawberries

1 can mandarin oranges - drained

2 bananas - sliced

1 10-12 oz. Cool Whip (not frozen, light or fat free work great too)

1 large package instant vanilla pudding (light brands are fine)

Break angel food cake into bite-size pieces. In a glass trifle bowl or a large tall glass bowl, add a layer of angel food cake pieces. Sprinkle strawberries and pineapple over the cake. Spread pudding over the top about an inch thick. Sprinkle orange pieces and sliced banana over the pudding. Repeat layers. Top with Cool Whip and garnish as desired. Chill for at least 3 hours before serving.
