Christadelphian Friendship Afghan Project

Some of the sisters in Indiana (U.S.A.) have formed what we call the "Christadelphian Friendship Afghan Project." We make afghans and send them out to comfort seriously ill brethren or sisters, or to those dealing with a serious problem of whatever type.

We would love to hear from sisters who would be willing to knit or crochet afghans or strips for afghans to help with this project. All the ecclesias in Indiana, plus the four in the Detroit, Michigan area are now helping with this project. Several sisters are even learning how to knit or crochet, and others are renewing this skill they once enjoyed in the past. Sisters classes or even CYCs might also enjoy making afghans.

We now have five afghans ready to send out when needed. We also need sisters who would be willing to be a contact person in other areas besides the Midwest that could keep us informed of those in their area who might need this comfort.

If you would like to join in this project, or need further information, please email Sis. Lois Plew at lplew@indiana.edu
